Ya’ll are on a time crunch, I know it. It’s 9:11 AM and you’ve got 2 hours before your deadline and you need some ideas now. Well buckle up, kiddo, and let me take you on a tour of two resources for images, colors and design trends!
Images

Adobe Stock has tons of royalty-free stock photos for websites. If you have a Creative Cloud account – which you probably do, being a designer – you can even snag some images for free. Pixabay is another great resource, and one I used just before writing this post. So you know it’s a life-saver!
Colors

Adobe Color is a great tool for creating, finding and sharing color themes for your websites. I’ve used it in the past, and best of all: it’s free! When designing your websites around color, why not consider basing it off material design? That resource will get you started making beautiful, modern color-focused designs.
Asymmetrical Design

Asymmetrical design is all about the grid. Making it and breaking it. To that end, check out these tutorials on CSS Grid to get you started on writing grid systems in pure CSS. Or if you prefer a Javascript-based solution, Bootstrap is your friend. Even better, compare the two and see what works for you!
