Bad Day (Narrative Film)

I served as Continuity Director on this narrative film, which entailed keeping track of scenes and takes during production and post-production.

This is my own edit of the film, in which I experimented with different non-verbal methods of communicating Ross’ mental state throughout the different scenes, from anger and frustration to depression and happiness. I also played with the continuity of the script, internally reordering scenes to fit my narrative vision of the film. I believe that narrative is expressed as much through post-production as much as what happens on screen. Even a title card can help tell the story in a film.
